Long sleeved grey cotton shirt : Main Force Viet Cong
Description
Main Force Viet Cong long sleeved grey cotton shirt with green topstitching, green buttons down front and at cuffs. The shirt also has pleated breast pockets with buttoned down flaps. The shirt shows signs of colour fading in patches on the front, back and sleeves.
History / Summary
Part of a Viet Cong pack containing a number of articles which provided a complete uniform for the regional Main Force Viet Cong. Other items in the pack included trousers, waist belt with pouch and water bottle, rubber sandals, webbing pouches, hammock roll and pack.
