Blue cotton trousers : Main Force Viet Cong
Description
Long blue cotton trousers top-stitched with green thread. Six green buttons form a concealed button fly closure. The trousers have front pleats, side pockets and a waistband with six belt loops. There is a tear in the back of the right leg.
History / Summary
Part of a Viet Cong pack containing a number of articles which provided a complete uniform for the regional Main Force Viet Cong. Other items in the pack included shirt, waist belt with pouch and water bottle, rubber sandals, webbing pouches, hammock roll and pack.
