Description

Letter from John H Alston to the editor of the Sydney Morning Herald, Los Angeles, 1 December 1916. In his letter Alston, mentions an enclosed newspaper clipping the part of information printed in the clipping he is opposed to. Attached to the letter is a newspaper clipping from the Los Angeles Examiner, 26 November 1916. The clipping relates to Billy Hughes, the White Australia policy, conscription and the existing relationships between Britain, Australia and Japan.[Includes envelope]
