Description
Letter from N Wallace to John Fairfax and Sons, California, 27 November 1916. In the letter, Wallace, mentions an article which they read in the Sydney Mail 11 October 1916 page 18, called "The greatest cause" , then they read the enclosed newspaper clipping and remarks about how poor the papers are at reporting Australian news. Attached to the letter is a newspaper clipping from the Los Angeles Examiner, 26 November 1916. The clipping relates to Billy Hughes, the White Australia policy, conscription and the existing relationships between Britain, Australia and Japan.
