Description

Recording of 'Let the great big world keep turning', created as part of the Music and the First World War project. Lyrics written by Clifford Grey with music composed by Nat D Dyer. Produced by Chris Latham with Andrew Goodwin as vocalist (tenor), and Alan Hicks on piano. This recording was made at Flat Rock Studios, Sydney, on 17 January 2018. The work is performed in the spirit of the time with some changes made for the modern ear.

Chris Latham, producer of this recording, notes: 'This is a great tune which has a contrasting verse and chorus. The song features a floating voice and lyrics about a love that is far away. It is very poignant and a gorgeous song that is filled with sentiment.'
