To My Dear Mother
Description
Envelope style embroidered silk postcard decorated with a red and black rose surrounded by daisies, and the words "To my dear mother" surrounded by Forget-me-nots. Inside the envelope is a small card featuring a print of a castle, and the above phrase repeated. This postcard relates to the First World War Service of 3557 Private Daniel Bond Madgwick, 17th Infantry Battalion.
