Manuscript relating to the First World War service of Captain Percy George Rupert Parkes, 23rd Infantry Battalion, 1915-1918; 2007 [First copy - double-page spread].

This manuscript contains the transcribed and edited diaries of Percy George Rupert Parkes prepared by Doug M. Wallace and Margaret D. Wallace. The transcribers/editors have also included a list of contents, an introduction featuring a biography of Parkes in addition to a broader family history, footnotes following the final diary entry, indexes to people and places referenced in the diaries, and a glossary.

Please note that pages 113-117 of the manuscript contain extracts relating to Percy George Rupert Parkes from a book titled "Forward undeterred: the history of the 23rd Battalion, 1915 - 1919", and have not been released online due to copyright restrictions.
