Letters relating to the First World War service of 263 Sergeant Thomas Wilfred Clifford (Bill) Usherwood, 23rd Infantry Battalion. These letters are both written by and to Bill Usherwood including: one which mentions his friend Captain David Gerald Evans; one from Usherwood's brother to their mother and one addressed to Sergeant Usherwood's brother from possibly Captain Evans regarding Usherwood's death.
