Description

Testing weapons and practising fire and movement at a range in Nui Dat. Also five members of the SAS doing the same on the left hand side of the range. The unusual pistol on display fired a self propelled round and was very inaccurate. Helicopter winch practice prior to deployment into the Rung Sat Special Zone, circa July August 1970. Members of 7 Platoon 'C' Coy passing Luscombe on the way to a TAOR patrol. The scene with children was taken on 25 Dec 1970 at a Catholic Orphanage at Baria. The 'C' Coy took clothing, food and toys. 'C' Coy were fortunate to be the only Company at Nui Dat on Christmas Day. The Horseshoe, Views of artillery. Helicopters bringing in 3 RAR as relief. The return to Nui Dat.
