Collection compiled by Alan Wood in preparation to write the history of Services Reconnaissance Department (SRD) commissioned by the Z Special Unit Association. This wallet consists of an account handwritten in pencil on pads numbered 22 and 23. Pad 22 includes notes describing content of National Archives of Australia Series: A3269 [Collection of Special Operations Australia (SOA) also known as Inter-Allied Services Department and Services Reconnaissance Department records, incorporating records of the Far Eastern Liaison Office] including establishment and organisation of Mobile Propaganda Units, FELO policy and activities, propaganda leaflets, SRD projects, SOA and SRD policy, SRD intelligence organisation and procedure, Frazer Commando School and Training Directorate, flashless weapons, Operation Semut III, SOA personnel lists, Captain Morrison's Papers, Porto-Timorese personnel, Medical Directorate and group field reports.
