Description
Collection consists of correspondence related to the preparation of the Services Reconnaissance Department (SRD) history, including aspects relating to the Allied Intelligence Bureau (AIB) and service details, Operation Jaywick in Rimau and Timor, maritime operations, operations in Borneo, Semut I and II operations. Also included is research material relating to Semut I, Operation Lizard, AIB activities and personnel, registers of SRD and Z Special Force members, lists and summaries of field operations, hand written notes and transcripts relating to the origin, organisation, personnel, equipment and operations of the AIB, and copies of 'Z Newsletters'. There are index cards, news clippings and photographs also included.
