Description
Notebook relating to the Second World War service of VX46480 Clement Douglas Coridas, 2/29th Australian Infantry Battalion. This notebook complied using scrap pieces of paper, was made by Coridas during his time as a Prisoner of War of the Japanese. This notebook was used between 1942 and 1945 and contains: a roll of name (possibly of those in his company of the 2/29th Australian Infantry Battalion) with marks next to those who died; drafts of letters to his mother; pages of money tallies and a hand written calendar with the dates marked off.
