Silk postcard, Forget me not
Description
Embroidered envelope-style silk postcard decorated with a peacock and the words "forget me not". The eyespots of the peacock's tail have been replaced with colours representing flags of the Allied nations. On the revserse is correspondence from 1184 Driver Phillip Patrick Ryan, 5th Australian Field Artillery Brigade to his future wife Ebba.
