Papers, personal correspondence and photographs relating to the Boer War and post war service of 126 Corporal Ebenezer 'Edward' Barron, 1897-1939; 1999.

This file contains a range of documents relating to Barron's pre and post Boer War service, encompassing references relating to his application for Boer War service; papers pertaining to his enlistment and training in the 23rd Army Medical Corps prior to the First World War; a 1914 letter from his family while in Scotland; papers associated with his membership to the Caledonian Society (1927-1929); photographs of his son Charles Barron with the Light Horse Tasmanian Militia, and photographs of his and his wife's headstones at Cornelian Bay Cemetery including a plan of the aforementioned cemetery.
