Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard features an envelope design with a central flower design incorporating the Union Jack, Belgian, French and Italian flags. Pink and purple buds also appear in the design. A small card insert features the message "To my darling mother", illustrated with flowers and a hatching chicken.
