Souvenir of the Great War
Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard features an envelope design with the message "Souvenir of the Great War". The letters "G" and "W" incorporate the Union Jack, French, Belgian, Portuguese, American and Russian flags. A string of purple and yellow flowers also appears in the bottom half of the design.
