Description
The Kilo ramp at Kandahar Air Base looking west. CH-47D Chinooks of the Netherlands Air Force are right of picture and Australian Army CH-47D A15-201 and A15-106 centre of picture. A white crew van is parked behind the two Australian CH-47D. Aircrewman Technician Sgt Lee Maloney C Squadron, 5th Aviation Regiment (5 AVN) and an unidentified Aircrewman can be seen walking down the centre of the ramp. US UH-60 Blackhawk line the southern pads on Kilo ramp with the optical sight of two OH58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters appearing over the final UH-60 at the western end of the ramp. Two AH64 Apache can be also seen at the western end of the ramp parked in their individual shelters.
