Formation Mini Gun engaging objective. Captain Jason Otter, 5th Aviation Regiment (5 Avn Regt) later noted: "Texas Helo was the desert south of Kandahar - this was a live fire designated area where we could train - where we did our test flights, most of our Local Area Orientation and introduction flying. This training involved the aircraft simulating an approach to land on an objective and encountering ground fire on approach to landing. The lead aircraft engages the target, then hands it off to the Ramp gunner. The second aircraft comes into picture and continues to suppress the target while we abort the approach and departed quick speed".
