Souvenir from France
Description
Embroidered silk postcard made in France during the First World War. This postcard has an envelope design with a butterfly whose upper wings make up the flap of the envelope and have the union jack on them and the lower wings have the French flag. The words 'souvenir from France' is embroidered around the butterfly. On the reverse is a letter from [Michael] Kelleher to Miss Quinn 2 October 1917.
Inside is a card printed with a women holding a flower and a note from Private Kelleher on the back
