Description
Original caption: "1-4-1966 Interviewing Major BERNARD FISHER US Air Force 2nd Air Division, at Pleiku, South Viet-nam. A-1E Skyraider pilot. Hero of A Shau battle. Landed on VC-held small airstrip and rescued downed pilot of another A-1E. 7 aircraft downed over A Shau. VC-PAVN overran and held (this in March 1966). Fisher won Congressional Medal of Honour for above."
