Collection relating to Neil Davis, war cameraman and correspondent
Original caption: "Village of Phu Lam, outskirts of Saigon - overrun by US forces Feb 12, 1968. 1968 Tet Offensive. Captured VC on US tank. (Aust.) ABC correspondent Tony Ferguson interviewing US officer. Neil Davis filming. PHU LAM was the command centre for the Tet attack on Saigon, and the Viet-Cong Commanding-General TRAN VAN DO was killed here (his body was filmed by Davis on this day). It was this day also that Fergy did his piece to camera "... up to his knees in bodies" - as Wally Hamilton (Snr.) put it later."
