Bapaume, France, 1917. A wooden cross in the local cemetery marking the graves of four members of the 23rd Battalion, 1st AIF, who were killed in action on 1917-03-17. The soldiers were: 1126 Sergeant Harold Lindsay Wilcox; 3830 Corporal Eric Otho Gregory; 4063 Private Harold Betts; 4158 Private William George O'Connor. (Donor B. Garcia)
