Description
Villa Wood, Albert-Bapaume area, France. A cross marking the grave of Captain Charles Edward Percy Henderson MC of B or D Battery, 71st Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, who was killed in action on 17 November 1916. Amid the flowers adorning the grave is a plaque which reads: "From NCOs and men." A number of other crosses in the background mark the graves of other soldiers.
