Collection relating to the Second World War service of VX34 Major Henry Charles David Marshall, DSO, ED and bar, 2/7 Infantry Battalion, 1939-1945.
Wallet 2 of 5 – Consists of three booklets of memoirs numbered 7 to 9 written by Major Henry Charles David Marshall. The three booklets describe his experiences from early 1941 onwards with the 2/7 Infantry Battalion in Libya, Egypt, Greece, Crete, and as a prisoner of war in Germany. The first six booklets are housed in Wallet 1 of 5.
