Melbourne, Vic. 1943-05-19. A group photograph in the Australian Comforts Fund Depot in Exhibition Street of members of the Returned Army Sisters' Auxiliary. This Auxiliary was a group of nursing sisters from World War I who took responsibility for the despatch of reading matter to the troops in World War II. From the left they are Miss D. Stephenson, Mrs Love, Mrs Scott Murphy, Miss Maud Philp, Miss W. Forster, Mrs E. Hargraves, Miss E. Jackson, Miss M. Horton, Miss O. Holloway, Mrs G. Horne, Miss J. Stephenson, Miss Maud Barter and a casual worker, name unknown.
