Description
Sydney, NSW. 1920-03-27. The 28cm German railway gun known as the `Amiens gun' at a railway siding before it was moved to Canberra. The gun and the complete train were captured by AIF troops near Harbonnieres in France on 1918-08-08. The barrel of the gun is now in the collection of the Australian War Memorial.
