Sydney, NSW. 1920-10-06. The 28cm German railway gun known as the `Amiens gun' opposite Central Railway Station where it was displayed. City buildings in the background include W C Douglass Ltd. The gun and the complete train were captured by AIF troops near Harbonnieres in France on 1918-08-08. The barrel of the gun is now in the collection of the Australian War Memorial.
