c. 1917. A portrait of 254 Private Archibald Scott, 56th Battalion. Private Scott was killed on 1918-05-21 and he is buried in the Crouy British War Cemetery, Crouy-Sur-Somme, France. This portrait is taken from a composite photograph presented to the Abermain RSL by the ladies of the Abermain Comforts Fund. The composite photograph comprises portraits of the twenty five servicemen from Abermain who lost their lives in the war of 1914-1918 (Australian War Memorial negative number P01920.001).
