Description
Order of the Crown of Prussia, 3rd Class, with Swords [Kronen Orden]. White enamelled gold cross pattee with crossed swords between the arms. The obverse shows a central gold medallion with crown within a blue circlet with gold Gothic letters 'GOTT MIT UNS'. The reverse shows a gold medallion with royal cypher within a blue circlet with Gothic lettering 'DEN 18 OCTOBER 1861'. The ribbon is black with white side stripes as worn by military recipients (civilian recipients had a blue ribbon).
