Description
Large group portrait of instructors and cadets at the Eastern Command Training School, gathered on the front steps of a substantial building in which the school is housed. The instructors are the men wearing light uniforms in the front three rows. Note that only two of them have campaign ribbons. A number of the other men are wearing plumes in their slouch hats, indicating that they are members of Light Horse regiments. The five soldiers wearing pith helmets are members of the New South Wales Scottish Regiment.
