Description
Pte Reid's account of a road-block ambush during WW2, in which he was involved as a member of the ambushed group, which comprised Reid's 2/19 Battalion, "the remnants of the Indian Brigade" and the 2/29th Battalion. The account gives a detailed history of an ambush, from initial attack to moving on after the Japanese were defeated. Pte Reid also describes some personal responses to the ambush.
