South Vietnam. 1968-12. Private Bob Hunter of Earlwood, NSW, a member of 4RAR /NZ (ANZAC) (The ANZAC Battalion comprising 4th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment and a component from the 1st Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment), is led through the jungle by tracker dog Milo in search of Viet Cong. Milo is one of eight tracker dogs with Australian infantry battalions in Phuoc Tuy Province.
Sergeant (Sgt) David Combe of Forbes, NSW, was awarded the Ilford 1969 Photographic Award for the Army's 'Picture of the Year' for this image.
