Changi Prison Camp, Singapore. c. 1945. NX67447 Warrant Officer Arthur Henry Mason Purdon, 2/30th Battalion of East Maitland, NSW, with diagrams of artificial limbs which he built from aluminium and other waste metal taken from Japanese dumps. He made many for Australian prisoners of war (POWs) at Changi.
