An aerial view of the battlefield of Fromelles, showing the German trenches captured by the 5th Australian Division. The mine craters between the German and Australian lines are situated 2,000 yards north of Fromelles. Cordonnerie Farm is to the north of the Australian lines and Delangre Farm is to the south of the German lines.
