Finschhafen, New Guinea. At a forward post not far from Japanese positions Corporal (Cpl) I. H. Watson of Trafalgar, Vic, makes some bread. Cpl Watson made his oven by embedding 44 gallon drums in mud. A group of AIF troops look on, waiting for the bread while on a break.
