Korea. 4 December 1951. General James Van Fleet, Commanding the 8th US Army (right), addressing the parade on the occasion of the bestowing of the US Presidential Distinguished Unit Citation on members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR). In the background, left to right, are: the Commander in Chief of the British Troops in Japan and Korea, Lieutenant General W. Bridgeford; 1 Corps Commander, Major General John W. (Iron Mike) O'Daniel; 1st Commonwealth Division Commander, Major General Jim Cassels; and an unidentified US Army officer wearing sunglasses.
