A Japanese Mitsubishi G4M Betty attack bomber about to take off on a runway at a Japanese airfield, possibly Rabaul. The take off was observed by Admiral Yamamoto, who was making an inspection of the airfield, watching from the control tower. The Mitsubishi G4M Betty attack bombers were outstanding Japanese bombers with an exceptional range and flown by the air arm of the Imperial Japanese Navy.
