An unidentified pilot (possibly Flight Sergeant H G Carter) in the pilot's seat of Avro Lancaster bomber aircraft G for George. The bombs painted on the side indicate the aircraft has flown 46 missions. It eventually flew 90 missions and was flown to Australia, ending up in the collection of the Australian War Memorial.
