[item 1] Original handwritten diary written by 15252 Sapper Oliver Malcolm Willcock, who served in 14th Field Company Engineers, covering March 19, 1916 - 31 December 1918: service in various parts of French and Belgian areas of Western Front - including Ypres, Villers Bretonneux, Polygon Wood, Steinvoorde. [item 2] Diary transcript. [item 3] Certificate of Discharge for Willcock, dated 7 April 1919. [item 4] Typed transcript of a letter written on 24 February 1942 by William Henry Lewis - a telegraph messenger at Darwin Post Office - to his parents, describing the first Japanese air raid on Darwin during Second World War.
