Description

Lieutenant J H Weingarth (back row, left) and course instructors William (Billy) Stutt (back row, fourth from left) and Andrew Lang (probably back row, fifth from left) at the NSW State Flying School. This flying school was the first government owned civil aerodrome in Australia. The aircraft is an American made Curtiss Jenny, JN3 or JN4, two seater biplane and four of these aircraft were owned by the flying school.
