German prisoners, after their capture by the Australians at Villers-Bretonneux, in the night attack of 24 April, in which the village was taken by the 13th and 15th Infantry Brigades. On the right, standing facing camera is 2863 Private Thomas Benoit, a member of the 5th Australian Division Intelligence Police attached to 14th Australian Infantry Brigade Headquarters about end of April or beginning May 1918.
