Studio portrait of 3830 Private (Pte) Louis Stanley Kendall. Pte Kendall enlisted in the reinforcements of the 30th Battalion on 8 March 1916 after his son's application for enlistment was rejected on medical grounds. He was killed in action on 23 October 1917 in Belgium and is buried in the Hooge Crater Cemetery.
