Description
A bridge in course of construction by the 12th Field Company of Australian Engineers over a railway cutting near Vendelles. This bridge, completed on 28 September had a span of eighty six feet, a height of thirty two feet, and was built to take an axle load of fourteen tons. Identified standing on the bridge, right to left are: 1878 Temporary Corporal Herbert August A. Rogasch and 18938 Sapper O. Featherstone.
