A British Mk IV Female tank, that had been captured by the Germans and then, as seen here, recaptured by the British at Le Fort de la Pompelle. Staff Nurse Dorothy Sevilla White, Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS), is standing in front of the entrance to the tank. There is a British roundel and the German iron cross painted on the side of the tank.
