Description
Sergeant Owen Kenneth Stewart who was at the Base resting in the Convalescent Camp prior to returning to the Front sent this image to his mother in May 1915. This image shows B Subsection, 7th Battery Australian Field Artillery aboard the HMAT Rangatira (A22). W. P. Sparkes is marked with an x (standing on the right towards the back). In the second row, seated group of four, they are believed to be Farrier Sergeant Charles Imber; Farrier Sergeant Felix Francis Howard; Second Lieutenant S F Hodgens; Sergeant Owen Kenneth Stewart; Farrier Sergeant Felix Francis Howard is to the left of Hodgens.
