An unidentified Australian soldier lifts a young boy to view the inside of a Japanese Midget Submarine on display in the Exhibition Gardens in Melbourne, Victoria, while an unidentified Australian Naval rating looks in the conning tower hatch. The submarine took part in the unsuccessful attack in Sydney Harbour on the night of 31 May 1942.
