Studio portrait of 5704 Private (Pte) Norman Raymond Hedrick, 18th Battalion, of Cobar, NSW (originally from Louth, NSW). Pte Hedrick enlisted on 10 March 1916 and was later killed in action at Bullecourt on the Somme on 3 May 1917, aged 20 years. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Memorial at Villers-Bretonneux.
