Wallet 1 of 1 - Consists of a typed transcript of three diaries, covering the period from 24 July 1916 to 24th August 1918, describing daily life, dutie, weather and general conditions. First diary commences on 24 July 1916 with Snedden on leave in London a month after arriving in England. Diary covers activites in camp, including a review of troops by the king, and concludes 22 November 1916 with the unit preparing to leave for France. Second diary commences 22 December 1916 with the unit at Armentieres and concludes 31 December 1917 with the unit at Ravelsburgh. Third diary commences 1 January 1918 with the unit at Ravelsburgh and concludes 24 August 1918 with the unit near Corbie.
