Broodseinde Ridge, Belgium. 5 October 1917. An Observation Post in the Ypres Sector, from which the Australian observers had an excellent view of Becelaere, Keiburg and Passchendaele. This position was captured on 4 October 1917. The men in this photograph are unidentified.
