Gallipoli Peninsula, Turkey. October 1915. A trench on Plateau 400, dug by the remnants of various Australian battalions under Major Saker, on 26 April 1915 at Anzac. Major Saker was killed within 10 yards of the trench whilst leading a charge the same afternoon.
